Toledo Diocese Priest Assignments 2013 Tx68

Bishop Daniel E. Thomas has made the following canonical appointments:

  • Very Reverend Dennis G. Walsh, VF, as Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish, Spencerville, in addition to his responsibilities as Pastor of Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Delphos, and Saint John the Baptist Parish, Landeck, effective July 1, 2016. (NB: This is a change from what was previously announced. Given the recent decision by Bishop Thomas to align Saint Patrick Parish, Spencerville, with Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Delphos, and Saint John the Baptist Parish, Landeck, Father Walsh will become Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish on July 1, not Reverend Kent Kaufman as had been previously announced.)
  • Reverend Austin A. Ammanniti to graduate studies in Rome, residing at the Pontifical North American College, effective July 8, 2016.
  • Reverend David D. Kidd to graduate studies in Rome, residing at the Pontifical North American College, effective July 8, 2016.
  • Reverend George W. Mahas as Parochial Vicar of Saint Patrick Parish, Spencerville, in addition to his responsibilities as Parochial Vicar of Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Delphos, and Saint John the Baptist Parish, Landeck, effective July 1, 2016.
  • Reverend Daniel J. Parackkukizhakkethil as Parochial Vicar of Saint Patrick Parish, Spencerville, in addition to his responsibilities as Parochial Vicar of Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Delphos, and Saint John the Baptist Parish, Landeck, effective July 1, 2016.
  • Reverend Jeffery J. Smith as Parochial Vicar of Saint Joseph Parish, Maumee, effective July 8, 2016.

In addition to these appointments, Bishop Thomas has given temporary summer assignments to Father Ammanniti (Parochial Vicar of Saint Joan of Arc Parish, Toledo) and Father Kidd (Parochial Vicar of Regina Coeli Parish, Toledo). Upon completing their studies in Rome in spring 2017, both will receive new canonical appointments.

This is a Live Search function. As you type, results - if found - will start to appear.

This icon flowchart indicates that we are searching the Toledo Diocese website proper. That is to say: pages, events, announcements, etc.

In the illustration below, we are searching the site for the term softball.

This icon crosshair indicates that we are searching for a location. Namely, parishes and schools. When we activate the location icon, four more icons appear that will filter the results. The plus icon will show parishes, and the list icon will display results as a list.

The illustration below shows that we are searching for a location that is a parish and we would like to see the results as a list.

If we want to see our parish location search results plotted on a map, we would click the location icon.

Likewise, the book icon openbook will filter location results to display schools only. Here we are looking at a list of schools with the word mercy in their record.

Or let's say we want to display on a map all of the Catholic schools in a certain zip code.

Live Search is an exclusive AND search engine. Meaning, it will only return results that contain ALL of the search terms. For example: the illustration below will return results in Toledo that contain both names Peter and Paul.
