Dear Superintendent Flemming,
As a highly dedicated Teacher, I read your posting for a new Junior School Math Teacher with interest. My experience aligns well with the qualifications you are seeking at Savannah Creek Junior School, in particular my role as Junior School Math Teacher at Red Mountain Junior School, and I am certain I would make a valuable addition to your organisation.
With more than 11 years’ experience as a Junior School Math Teacher, I am adept in classroom instruction, development of instruction plans, and paren’t-teacher relations. Moreover, whilst my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate conflict resolution and problem solving abilities, I also have a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching. I am extremely enthusiastic about Savannah Creek Junior School’s focus on individualised instruction and would welcome the opportunity to contribute to improving your students’ math test scores.
Please review my attached CV for additional details regarding my expertise and career achievements. I will follow up to request an appointment to discuss how my experience and background meets your needs.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Dear Mr. Sheffield
After having recently passed the teaching boards and obtaining full California K-12 certification I was excited to learn of the available high school English teacher opening at Rolling Hills High School. I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Education with an English emphasis and know I would be a great choice. My practicum was completed in the English department at Happy Hills High School and the teachers and principal there are some of my references.
I learned a lot about educational theory and methods while in college but the time I spent doing my practicum as an English teacher at Happy Hills was invaluable. I learned how to put theory into practice while leading a classroom. Some skills I gained included how to keep control while also keeping learning fun for the students.
I am great at curriculum development and delivery. My lesson plans are highly interesting. I try to incorporate current events to make the material fresher and more accessible to students.
I am excited to begin my journey as a new teacher and hope I can do so at Rolling Hills High School. Either my cell phone or email are good ways to contact me. My CV is enclosed.
